From the Hoodzville Playground, not to the Prison.
"You can't change what you don't understand."
Hoodzville is a youth & young adult empowerment movement built on raw stories, mental retraining, and a community that refuses to let you stay stuck. D.A.R.E. 2B DIFFERENT.

DIFFERENT.
It's one thing to live it. Another to survive it.
Hoodzville isn't here to glorify the struggle. It's here to name it — and then break it. Peer pressure. Bullying. The tradition of "from the playground to the prison." These patterns have been treated as normal for too long.
This is where identity gets rebuilt, courage gets activated, and transformation becomes possible — through storytelling that's raw enough to land, and frameworks young people can actually use.
Understand your patterns
You can't change what you don't understand. Name it first.
Confront the pressure
Peer pressure and bullying lose their grip once you see them clearly.
Choose a new direction
From victim to survivor to role model — on purpose, not by accident.

D.A.R.E. 2B DIFFERENT — Module One
Stop scrolling. Because what you’re about to see isn’t just another video, it’s a story-driven teaching tool built to shake you awake. Hoodzville D.A.R.E. 2B DIFFERENT takes fictional stories, and match it with real struggles, real emotion and turns them into lessons that hit harder than any textbook ever could.
These stories don’t just teach, they transform. They show you how to decode your choices, confront your patterns, and step into the version of yourself you’ve been avoiding and craving at the same time. Every scene is a mirror. Every moment is a message. Every story is a strategy.
Because when you learn through story, you don’t just understand the lesson, you feel it. And when you feel it, you change. The only thing left to ask is, what story will YOU rewrite when you D.A.R.E. 2B DIFFERENT.
D.A.R.E. 2B DIFFERENT — Module Two
Let’s get one thing straight, peer pressure and bullying don’t break you, they build the moment you decide they won’t own you anymore. D.A.R.E. 2B DIFFERENT hits with that Hoodzville voltage, the kind that forces you to look your challenges in the face and say, “You don’t get to choose who I become.”
Because standing up to pressure isn’t about being fearless, it’s about being fed up. And pushing back against bullying isn’t about being the toughest, it’s about being tired of shrinking. This movement teaches you how to think sharper, move smarter, and rise stronger, even when the crowd is loud, the pressure is heavy, and the hate is real.
It shows you that courage isn’t a moment, it’s a muscle. And every time you use it, you grow. When you D.A.R.E. 2B DIFFERENT, you stop reacting to the world and start rewriting the way the world reacts to you. The only thing left to wonder is, what happens when you finally decide you’re done letting pressure pick your path.
D.A.R.E. 2B DIFFERENT — Module Three
This is your wake-up moment. Before the beat drops, before the story unfolds, Hoodzville hits you with the truth: every step you take, no matter how small is a STEPPINGSTONE toward growth. This video isn’t hype, it’s a shift.
It shows you that progress isn’t loud, perfect, or pretty. It’s built from the tiny choices you make when nobody’s watching. It’s the courage to move one inch forward when life tries to push you ten steps back. It’s the decision to rise even when the ground still remembers your fall.
In Hoodzville, growth isn’t an accident. It’s a strategy. It’s a mindset. It’s a movement. And when you D.A.R.E. 2B DIFFERENT, those steppingstones stop feeling like struggle and start looking like the path to the person you were always meant to become.
The only question left is, how far are you ready to grow next.

Not telling stories. Giving tools.
My name is Larry W. Keys. I live in Virginia, where I've been telling street stories for over 15 years. I have 27 years of recovery from drugs and alcohol (since 08/04/89), a certificate in drug treatment counseling, and I speak to individuals and groups as a motivational speaker.
My Hoodzville books are fictional stories from the hood — about life's ups and downs, peer pressure and bullying, and the journey to becoming a role model.
The twists and turns of my own recovery taught me that role models are needed more than anything. A book by Terence T. Gorski — Passages Through Recovery — helped me put it all together.
